I’m starting to teach, here at Studio Faire in Nérac.

My course is called “Mastering Portraiture with Colin Usher, An inspiring photographic day class at Studio Faire in Nérac”.

I love teaching and to be honest, showing off a little. In my studio here in Nérac, I will have a portrait strobe flash lighting available as well as many areas to play with natural light. 

We’ll discuss setting the mood and directing the subject to get the most out of them and capture their uniqueness of character in a portrait. 

I’ll be passing on my little tips & tricks for making the images shine in post production with Adobe Lightroom. 

This one day course will leave the students with some new skills, a small armoury of tricks and hopefully, a new found energy for producing stunning portraits.

I hope to pass on a little bit of my attitude and make sure this course is as much fun for my students as the practice is for me.
