Welcome to the New Year here in Nérac, South West France
We’re having just a slight breather before we embark on a very busy year ahead. 

Studio Faire is just about booked up for the year already and we’re not quite finished January! Our first guests arrive at the end of the month so February sees us welcoming an American painter and a Finnish dancer to kick our season of residencies off.  

For the past year I’ve also been working part-time at a school in Agen teaching English to French people of all ages. This experience has been wonderful. I’ve met doctors, nurses, retired bankers, entrepreneurs and more… Having taught over 30 people in Agen at I Speak English I’ve decided to start teaching here at Studio Faire also. There is certainly a hunger to learn English and I hope to continue helping others to expand their horizons and opportunities through language learning. 

As the weather starts to warm up over the next few months I’ll also be embarking on more photography assignments with Ma Maison Immobilier in Condom, helping them present stunning properties from the region. I do love the privileged access to châteaux and prestige locations in the Gers & Lot et Garonne.

So, looking forward to a fresh new year and continuing this amazing journey that Julia & I have embarked on here in France.
