This weekend saw me hanging out with the lovely team at Haddington’s Waterside Bistro.

Recently under the new management of Louise Williams & Jonny Dunbar, the place is experiencing a fresh energy.

Julia and I frequent this establishment on Fridays and often during the summer months can be seen, dogs in tow, relaxing in the sunshine at the outdoor tables at Haddington’s most picturesque spot.

I recently used The Waterside’s ‘bothy’ to shoot with Braw Beard Oils and agreed that a staff shoot would be a good idea for populating the website and Facebook page… enlightening and educating visitors as to who this lovely bunch are.

With a few tables moved aside upstairs, classic Timerous Beasties wallpaper acting as a backdrop, we set to work shooting the team. The session was wrapped up with a few shots of wee Bongo the pub terrier melting everyone’s hearts.

For this simple set up, I used my new soft box along with the Gemini flash from Bowens. Great results.
